Sing Praises To Him!!!

This is Christophonk...sitting in bed with pneumonia (uuggh). The guys are probably performing at an assembly at this very moment and I wish I could be there. But after the hospital visit last night its obviously important that I rest.....but talk about testimony....I'll share that another day.

Today I wanted to share something very special with everyone so that we can all sign His praises and rejoice like there's no tomorrow. You see, I met a girl by the name of Dottie about a week ago at Shallote Middle School, an awesome school with AMAZING kids! Dottie was there early helping us set up....well, she wasnt really helping...hehe...she was just kinda running around having fun, making us laugh and what not. She has a 'free' spirit, a spirit of excitment, curiosity, and what seemed to be great joy. But I could kinda tell that there was a weight on her......and sure enough there was. Below are parts of some email conversations that I had with her.....watch as God moves in her!

(I started by asking her a simple question..."How are things going in your life?")

(Dottie)
"okay well you see, i have a lot going on in my life and a lot of it has to do with guys and sometimes i don\'t know what to do. and i turn to God and i just feel like he\'s not there and he doesn\'t care. i go to church as much as i can but my parents won\'t drive me or let me walk. so i don\'t have a way to get there, but when i get to go with one of my friends i do. but i just feel like God\'s not there and he doesn\'t love me."~Dottie.

(This is why God gave me the words to the Admiral...FOR THIS RIGHT HERE! So I had her listen to the song and I explained things in further detail...and this was her response)

(Dottie)
"hey chris, i wanted to say thanks. i've decided to re-deticate my life to God. i think this will help me with a lot. and tell the guys it was because of them and you of coarse. you guys opened up my eyes and made me see a lot. so THANKS!!!" ~Dottie.

(Rejoicing I praised the Lord and expressed to her that God was going to move in and do some amazing things in her life)

(Dottie)
"im so happy. its as if a giant weight has just been lifted. im gonna start going to chruch a lot more. im trying to get my sister to believe in God. and im gonna try to do better in school. =D im really happy. i just feel so wonderful. so i really just want to thank you. because it was you, bomani, josh, dave, and hollywood who changed my life. thank you so much. you gotta read my profile, my about me and my music section. you'll like it. chris, you and the rest of hello revolution are my heros. thank you for everyhitng that you have done for me, and trust me its been a lot."~Dottie.

Sick of being SICK...

Well everyone, I am here alone at the house and everyone else has jetted off to take Christophunk to the emergency room (I didn't get dressed in time, time was definitely of the essence). He has a temperature of 102 degrees and it seems to be getting worse. Gotta say that we are all worried about our brother. We have been praying for him and pumping him with vitamins, immune boosters, water, gatorade, etc.. most recently Mucinex.. (I am taking that, too) - anyhooo, Chris is one of the ULTIMATE WARRIORS, despite how he feels, he has been soldiering through and still performing.. (what a guy!) But his health has not held up. Seemed to get worse. So, I am taking a bit of time now to call on the Saint's of God and all the Watchmen (and ladies) on the wall to PRAY!!!! WE have been getting attacked in every single way, but we have been determined to forge ahead regardless, and God has surely been showing up. We still have had GREAT testimonies of young people giving their lives to God, rededicating the hearts to HIM, and recent changes of lifestyles... Its such JOY..!!!! But as much as we have been holding up others, now we find ourselves in need of prayer..

We love you all,

....Bomani

Drum roll pa-leeeeeease!!

Man, it 's Saturday morning...(finally)! We found that we have this weeknd off and we are gonna chill out and maybe go to the mall, grocery store, Harley Davidson showroom across the street. Haha.. no, seriously.

(on my soapbox) I am personally glad to have this short time to regroup and rest. I think that we have made some significant strides this week with all the attacks that tried to swallow us up, and whatever else the devil tried to use to tear us apart...again....like it says in Ecclesiastes, "nothing is new..."! The devil is trippin. We know that he cleary isn't too enthusiastic about us going into his territory... and that's ok, cuz we keep reminding ourselves what Romans 8 says!!! He can't beat God! So, yeah, we proudly call this week a success for the KINGDOM OF OUR LORD! (off of my soapbox)..

Anyhooo, I am waiting for the guys to get up so we can go out and kick-it in frozen Myrtle Beach! Oh yeah, we have been recording some of the classic HelloRevolution videos... so those of you who 'know' us, WATCH OUT!...lolol

Well I gotta fix sum breakfast.. later yall!

Doc Rhythm is out!... ("Bomani" for those that are slow)... TEEHEEHEHE

bye

Steel Sharpens Steel

Hey everybody, Phonk here! Its Monday....yaaaayyyyy! Most people are probably thinking "Why is he so happy its Monday?". You see, for us, Monday is the first day of a week in which we will see the faces of approximately 4,000 students!!! Yes, our job is awesome. And our first task this morning was at Central Middle School and we did a GREAT assembly. The lights actually went out in the middle of my closing message...but it was amazing...I used the darkness as if it were a stage prop...very dramatic indeed!

So the assembly went really well, but the day actually started a little 'off beat', meaning the devil threw off our natural rhythym. You see, one of the most deceiving 'traps' the devil uses is one of 'offense'...meaning when someone gets offended, he then makes a person soak it, bottle it, and store it inside of them causing it to eat away at their spirit, ultimately causing a lack of focus and a level of seperation from the Lord. This morning it was evident that our tour manager had a few 'offenses' stored up inside, thus allowing the devil to use it against us.

This happened right before we went out on stage for the assembly and I cant emphasize enough how hard it was to stay focused on our assignment. We stayed calm as a group, but the coffee had been stirred up just enough......and so the show started rough and lacked the spirit and excitement that we normally give. But we pray before every show, and this prayer was very specific..right to the point. We asked God to bless us with His mighty presence and fill the school with love and grace......and SURE ENOUGH....HE SHOWS UP!!!

It was like night and day. At one specific point in the show you could literally FEEL the 'swing' in spiritual momentum. And it was GLORIOUS! We played the rest of the show with complete comprehension of the divine authority that was granted to us by the LORD HIMSELF! And watch out!

And you know, the kids could tell....they began to attach themselves to us.....and before you know it...they are listening intently to a portion of my testimony...not even knowing that a seed is being planted and that God will then send a gardner to water them and protect the beauty that grows within each of their hearts.....

Needless to say, it was amazing. God is wonderful. The devil tries so many times and in so many different ways...sending his soldiers with swords of steel that clash into the mighty swords the Lord has blessed us with....but the devil doesnt even realize that his steel is sharpening HIS STEEL. How about that......

Talk to you all again soon...God bless.

- Phonk - signing out....
